An amazing event. The best night of fights I've ever seen.

Predictions: 10 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 660 Points   |   Tied for 840th

Figueiredo vs. Garbrandt - A cool opener, Garbrandt just seemed a bit behind Deiveson the entire time

Green vs. Miller - Awesome performance from Green. Miller is one tough SOB. I really am starting to like Green more and more. Sad to see Miller win on 300 but no shame

Miocano vs. Turner. Turner is an idiot. I almost had a perfect pick but he tried to walk off. I hope he's kicking himself right now. Good job Miocano and awesome interview

Lopes vs. Yusuff - Lopes ABSOLUTELY RAN THROUGH him. Lopes is a beast. Deserves bonus for performance of the night (if there's two bonuses).

Kayla vs. Holm - Don't know what to say about Holm here. She really didn't try to strike at all. Don't think Kayla got hit once except a nice elbow on the ground. Wonder how often she can fight while losing all that weight like that. Give her a title shot

Sterling vs. Kattar - Snooze fest from Sterling. I'm sure if I didn't pick this one perfectly I wouldn't be happy. Kattar had no answer for him on the ground

Jiri vs. Rakic - Classic Jiri activities. Gets hurt in abundance, hobbling on his legs, and finds a way to finish the opponent. Rakic should have kept destroying the legs

Bo vs. Brundage - Brundage lasted longer than we all thought. Had a great first 45 seconds of the second round. Bo was humbled a bit

Tsarukyan vs. Oliveira - I had Armen up 30-27. Valiant effort from Charles but Armen imposed his G&P too much for Charles to throw up anything

Holloway vs. Gaethje - Holloway surprised me, I didn't think he could outclass Gaethje like that. I thought at least it would be back and forth, but Holloway just dominated him. Justin kept ducking into the spinning back kick for some reason. And that knockout..... that will be replayed for years. That KO will be on all highlights forever. Fight of the night and Performance of the night.

Weili vs. Yan - Our ESPN kept crashing so we missed a lot of this. Clear 49-46 for Weili but not that exciting

Pereira vs. Hill - The first thing I noticed when Hill stepped into the cage was his gut. He usually does not look like this. His stomach was spilling over his trunks. Pereira looked serious walking out. Jamahal was in the right headspace, but Pereira is just better. I don't think anybody can beat Alex right now. He looks so big and solid, ever more than before. I wonder what the plans are for heavyweight. He wasn't hurt at all so he could still do his plan of defending against Magomed at 301.

Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 480 Points   |   5496th Place

This card honestly went as I originally thought before I over-analyzed. I could easily see myself changing my picks, or I did before in the week leading up.
– I figured Miller would implement some grappling and not just circle the cage as Green walked him down and peppered him with strikes.
– Andrade was on my bet slip after more tape study.
– Jalin Turner should’ve never let Moicano breathe, but two weeks leading up to the card I placed some money on Moicano at +180. If MM got on top of Jalin, I knew it would’ve been really tough to see the horn..
– Should’ve changed my pick to Aljo after seeing him on the scales, he looked ripped, humbled and confident in himself. That with Kattars’ layoff, it was obvious. I laid last minute chalk on Aljo by Dec.
– I KNEW Prochazka was going to win after seeing him pace the arena the early morning of fight day. That’s all.
– Holloway was who I was leaning towards for awhile, but this is the one fight on the card that I was most conflicted with, with Andrade/Rodriguez being the second.

BMF Championship: Max Holloway vs. Rafael Fiziev

Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 480 Points   |   5496th Place

If Max doesn’t get the title shot next after Dustin, I really need to see Max defend the BMF belt against Rafael Fiziev. I’m a huge Fiziev fan and I feel like that would be fireworks. I don’t think MMA math of “Gaethje beat Fiziev” will apply to the fight. It would be a close affair imo.

Toughts on Charles vs Arman the day after.

Predictions: 10 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 645 Points   |   Tied for 1068th

Now that the event is over I've seen a lot of people online saying that the split decision in the Charles vs Arman fight was crazy and that Arman "easily" won all 3 rounds. These people are crazy. R1:Charles, R2 and R3: Arman.

It was a very competitive fight all the way until the end with Arman getting saved by the bell in a choke to end it, I think the reason why people think he won R1 is because he was on top in the end and people forgot the amount of time Charles was on top himself during that round, he also delivered the more effective gnp in that round and had a crazy gilly that Arman almost went out to.

In round 2 Arman actually delivered affective gnp and cut charles up. That was the easy round to score.

In round 3 Arman had enought sucess in my mind to take the round but it was nothing crazy, if charles had done more in the feet before the fight went to the ground again, coupled with his submission attempt to end the fight he could have won in the scorecards.

Overall it was a very competitive fight that I wish was five rounds. Give Arman the title fight over Dustin and send Gamrot over to charles as a easy sacrifice.

Yup. Jimi was the last one and that is why I was pretty confident in Jiri round 2 KO.  Rakic is a guy he can get away with the Homer Simpson crap with.  And what is crazy... I didn't think Rakic fought a bad fight at all.
